Thank you for using our service. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using the service, you confirm that you have read and agree to this statement. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
In this statement, HuanLan Server is referred to as HuanLan and users are referred to as the user.
1. Information Collection and Use
1.1 Personal information: HuanLan may collect information you provide, such as name, email address, and contact details, to provide services and communicate with you. The service is intended for users with legal capacity.
1.2 Non-personal information: HuanLan may automatically collect browser type, device type, operating system, and third-party login data to improve service and content experience.
2. Player area on the website (Discord sign-in)
2.1 Sign-in: "My Profile" on the website uses Discord sign-in. We only request the identify scope, which gives us your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar. We never receive your email, password or server list.
2.2 Staying signed in: after you sign in, your browser keeps an HttpOnly cookie (hl_rt) used only to renew your sign-in. Page scripts cannot read it; it lasts at most 90 days and stops working when you sign out. We also store a "signed in before" flag in your browser, used only to decide whether to restore your sign-in automatically.
2.3 Sign-in records: for account security we record the time, result, IP address (stored encrypted) and browser details of sign-ins, sign-outs and account links. They are kept for 90 days and visible only to staff.
2.4 Who can see what: game data such as your wallet, VIP expiry, quests and playtime is visible only to you, after signing in with a Discord account verified as linked to that game account. Player cards and leaderboards are public and only show the in-game name, head, equipped title, VIP rank, join date and ranking values.
3. Cookies and third-party services
3.1 Essential storage: besides the sign-in cookie and the "signed in before" flag in 2.2, the website only remembers your language and light/dark theme in your browser. None of these are used to track you.
3.2 Analytics: the website uses Google Analytics to count page views, traffic sources and device types so we can improve the site. Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser (names starting with _ga), and the data is processed by Google under its privacy policy. We only look at aggregated statistics and never use them to identify anyone. To opt out, install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or turn on your browser's tracking protection.
3.3 YouTube videos: the trailer on the home page loads the YouTube player only after you press play. Videos on dungeon pages use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so no YouTube cookies are stored until you press play. Once a video plays, YouTube may store cookies under its own privacy policy.
4. Confidentiality and Security
HuanLan works to protect personal information and uses appropriate technical and organizational measures against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or damage.
5. Sharing and Transfer
HuanLan does not sell, rent, or exchange personal information with third parties unless you consent or law requires it. We may share necessary information with trusted processing partners to provide the service.
6. Changes
HuanLan may modify this statement at any time. Changes will be posted on the website, and you are encouraged to review it regularly.
