Your first partner
- Type /partner starter (or /partner) and pick 嵐羽雀 (Storm Sparrow, attack), 苔背狐 (Moss Fox, guard) or 燈蕈仔 (Lamp Shroom, healing). You can only choose once, and your partner is called out right away.
- When you attack a mob, your partner joins in.
- Feeding snacks, granting wishes and fighting together each day raise its bond level, which unlocks more features.
- Put dungeon partner eggs in the incubator; they hatch while you are actively playing.
You don't need to restart for the other two starters: after granting 7 and 14 wishes in total, you get an egg of a starter you don't have yet each time.

- Shields absorb damage for you: a regular shield is 15% of your max HP for 8 seconds, a large shield 30% for 10 seconds. A new shield replaces the old one; they don't stack.
- A heal restores 10% of your max HP and 10% of the partner's; a big heal restores 25%. Heal over time restores 2% per second for 6–8 seconds.
- Cleanse removes poison, wither, slowness, blindness, weakness, nausea and darkness from you.
- Area damage hits up to 6 mobs around the target.
- Root leaves nearby regular mobs almost unable to move for 1.5–3 seconds; bosses only get Slowness I for 2 seconds. Knockback only moves regular mobs.
Fighting together
- Whatever creature you attack, your partner attacks too, except players. It counts for 8 seconds after you hit something. If you don't attack, the partner just follows you, so it won't help an AFK mob farm.
- It goes for your current target first, then for mobs attacking you. Area skills only hit monsters, never villagers or animals.
- Skills are cast automatically when ready, one at a time; low HP gets a heal first and a fresh hit gets a shield first. Even when you aren't attacking, healing and guard partners still heal and shield you.
- Use the awakened skill by pressing F during combat (without sneaking). In /partner settings you can switch it to automatic: it then fires during boss fights or when your HP is below 40%.
- Against regular mobs, each hit deals a fixed amount (more at higher partner levels) plus 5% of the mob's max HP. Against bosses, each hit takes 0.2% of the boss's max HP.
- Partner damage ignores your gear and never adds to your own attack or defence; a higher bond level hits harder.
- Mobs your partner finishes count as your kills, so quests, mastery and drops go to you as usual.
HP and fainting
- When a mob takes some percent of your max HP, your partner loses half that percent. Damage from players doesn't affect your partner.
- After 10 seconds without being hit, your partner regains 5% HP per second. Healing skills heal the partner too, and damage blocked by a partner shield doesn't count against it.
- At 0 HP it faints and gets up by itself after 60 seconds with half HP. Right-click a fainted partner with a snack to revive it instantly at full HP; this doesn't use up a daily feeding.
- If you die, your partner faints too, and gets up with half HP when you respawn.
- A fainted partner doesn't fight and earns no fighting bond.
Bond and growth
Bond is your partner's level, from Lv1 to Lv20. Going from Lv.N to the next level takes 60 + 10 × N points; reaching Lv20 takes 3,040 in total. Daily counts reset at 00:00:
| Source | Bond | Daily limit |
|---|---|---|
| Feed a snack | 15 | 2 times per partner |
| Grant the daily wish | 40 | 1 per player, to the partner that is out |
| Fight together | 1 per minute | 40 per partner (including the 10 from expeditions) |
| Level | Unlocks |
|---|---|
| Lv8 | Grows up into its grown form |
| Lv10 | Second skill |
| Lv12 | Neck accessory slot |
| Lv15 | Awakening: awakened form, awakened skill and riding |
| Lv20 | An aura and its Lv20 passive effect |
Snacks and wishes
- Snacks cost 300 coins each in /partner shop (buy 1, 5 or 10), or craft 2 from 3 wheat, 1 sugar and 1 egg.
- Snacks raise bond, revive a fainted partner and boost the Lv20 passive.
- You get 1 wish each day. Granting it gives the partner that is out 40 bond, and gives you 1 snack and season pass XP.
- Granting 7 and 14 wishes in total each gives an egg of a starter you don't have yet.
| Wish | How to grant it |
|---|---|
| Defeat 30 mobs together | Kill 30 mobs while your partner is out |
| Defeat a boss | Defeat any boss together, anywhere |
| Catch a fish | Catch 1 fish |
| Mine 20 ores | Mine 20 ore blocks |
| Spend time together | 30 active minutes (fighting, fishing, mining or moving) |
| Watch the sunset | Stand under open sky at sunset for 40 seconds in total |
| Wants a baked potato / pumpkin pie | Right-click your partner holding that food |
| Use the awakened skill 3 times | Use it 3 times (appears only from partner Lv15) |
The mining and sunset wishes only appear once you have been to a survival world.
Eggs and hatching
Dungeon partner eggs are bought at each dungeon's 「素材購買商店」 (material shop) with that dungeon's points, 1 per day. Dismantling gear and materials gives dungeon points. Bosses don't drop eggs.
| Dungeon | Partner | Rarity | Price (that dungeon's points) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dungeon 1: Yuanlin Forest | 蘑傘蝸 (Cap Snail) | Rare | 500 |
| Dungeon 2: Ice Crystal Snowfield | 冰鈴貂 (Bell Marten) | Rare | 800 |
| Dungeon 3: Kingdom of Heaven | 雲綿羊 (Cloud Lamb) | Rare | 600 |
| Dungeon 4: Yuehe Planet | 隕殼龜 (Meteor Turtle) | Legendary | 1,200 |
| Dungeon 5: Origin of the Glass Realm | 琉璃魚 (Glass Fish) | Legendary | 2,500 |
| Dungeon 6: Cyberpunk | 電路鴞 (Circuit Owl) | Legendary | 5,000 |
- Other sources: 8-hour expeditions have a 3% chance to bring back a dungeon partner egg (drawn from all six dungeons' partners), 7 and 14 wishes give starter eggs, and events hand out eggs too.
- Eggs wait in your egg basket, which holds 20; any egg you get while it is full turns into 3 snacks instead. Eggs bought in the shop and starter eggs from wishes ignore this limit.
- An egg only starts hatching in the incubator. Every minute in which you fight, fish, mine or walk at least 20 blocks counts as 1 minute on any server that has partners; standing AFK doesn't count.
- Hatching time: Common 30 minutes, Rare 90, Legendary 180, Limited 120. Each hatch has a 2% chance to be shiny; the starter you pick is never shiny.
- Right-click an egg in the incubator to move it back to the basket; its progress is kept. You can't open an egg while partner storage is full.
- Your first hatch each day gives season pass XP.

Lv20 passive effects
Once a partner reaches Lv20, it gives you a level I effect while it is out. Each kind has its own fixed effect that can't be changed, and only the partner that is out counts, so effects don't stack.
| Effect | Partner | Snack boost |
|---|---|---|
| Speed | 嵐羽雀 (Storm Sparrow) | Level II |
| Jump Boost | 苔背狐 (Moss Fox) | Level II |
| Haste | 冰鈴貂 (Bell Marten) | Level II |
| Night Vision | 燈蕈仔 (Lamp Shroom), 電路鴞 (Circuit Owl) | — |
| Slow Falling | 蘑傘蝸 (Cap Snail), 雲綿羊 (Cloud Lamb) | — |
| Water Breathing | 隕殼龜 (Meteor Turtle) | — |
| Dolphin's Grace | 琉璃魚 (Glass Fish) | — |
- Speed, Jump Boost and Haste can be boosted: feed the Lv20 partner a snack for 15 minutes at level II, stacking up to 60 minutes.
- The partner must be out and not fainted; the effect stays while riding.
- Turn it off in /partner settings or on the passive slot in the wardrobe; the partner still follows and fights.
- A stronger or longer potion of the same effect that you drank yourself isn't overwritten.
Riding
- From Lv15 (awakened) you can ride your partner, inside dungeons too; you can't ride into a claim that doesn't let you in.
- Get on with /partner ride or the saddle on the home page; WASD to move, Space to jump, hold Ctrl to go faster, Shift to get off.
- It moves about 6 blocks per second, about 8 when sprinting; it can jump up one block but not over a fence.
- While you ride, the partner's head accessory is hidden only from you (so it doesn't block your view); others still see it.
- Your partner doesn't fight while ridden, and you can't get on within 8 seconds of attacking. You are dismounted automatically when teleported or when the partner faints.

Expeditions
Partners you aren't carrying can be sent out for 2, 4 or 8 hours; claim the rewards in the expedition menu when they return (you must be online). Each expedition slot allows 3 trips a day.
| Duration | Snacks | Coins | Dungeon partner egg |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 hours | 1 | 100~300 | — |
| 4 hours | 1 | 200~600 | — |
| 8 hours | 2 | 400~1,000 | 3% |
- Each trip gives the partner 10 bond, counted toward its 40-point daily fighting limit.
- A partner on an expedition can't be called out or sent again; the timer keeps running when you change servers.

FAQ
Do bosses drop partner eggs?
No. Buy dungeon partner eggs with dungeon points at each dungeon's material shop, 1 per day; 8-hour expeditions have a 3% chance to bring one back, and events give eggs too.
Why isn't my partner fighting?
It only fights for 8 seconds after you attack. It doesn't fight while you ride it or while it has fainted.
Does a partner make my character stronger?
It never adds to your attack or defence, and its damage ignores your gear. The Lv20 passive is only something like Speed or Night Vision.
How do I get the other two starters?
Grant 7 and 14 wishes in total; each gives an egg of a starter you don't have yet.
Why can't I ride my partner?
The partner must be Lv15 and not fainted, and you can't get on within 8 seconds of attacking.
Why did my egg turn into snacks?
Your egg basket was full (20 eggs). Move eggs into the incubator or hatch them before getting new ones.
